Vat should only be charged at a flat rate of 5% for all work on private dwellings,
Avoid cowboy builders use a vat reg company, anybody trading in the building industry for more then 5 Years should be vat registered,
Condensation is a major problem during these winter months, make sure your open chimney flues are capped and vented along with tile vents for roofs without breathable membranes, wet rafters, sarking felt, damp patches and chimney breast walls are signs of moister ingress, speak to us about reducing your condensation.
